Top 5 Things To Do In Jefferson City With Kids This Week

1. The Missouri River Regional Library is having a Used Book Sale!

All weekend long, head over to the library on Adams Street for a Used Book Sale. Pair that with fun activities for all ages on Friday, Saturday and Monday!

2. Need a date night or a night out with friends? 

Capital City Kids is hosting Parents Night Out on Friday (1/19) from 6-9:30pm for $20.  Price includes slice of pizza and drink, they will also have concessions available. Ideal for ages 6-18. 

3. FREE Winter Concert!

The Jefferson City Community Band is performing their winter concert at St. Joseph's Cathedral. Admission is FREE and great for all ages! Saturday from 7pm - 8:30pm.

4. Its a Balloon Bonanza!

Have you ventured to other regional libraries yet? Our region of Macaroni KID includes Holts Summit and Fulton - check our calendar for even more free fun at these branches that are just a short drive from Jefferson City. On Thursday (1/25), Callaway County Library in Fulton is hosting an evening of balloon fun. Registration is required, ages 7-12.

5. Scene One Theatre's Opening Night for First Date: A Musical Comedy

Jefferson City has an impressive theatre scene and the latest is starting up this week. The first performance of First Date: A Musical Comedy starts on Thursday evening and will continue into the weekend. Tickets are $20, ideal for a 15 and older crowd!
