William Woods University is hosting their monthly series called First Friday at the Woods featuring food trucks, yard games and live music. Bring a lawn chair and come enjoy an evening connecting with the community. Tonight's featured artist is Bad Habit. Friday from 6pm-9pm, free!
2. Saturdays are for the vroooms.
The Ford Enthusiast Nationals and Shelbyfest is taking place this weekend bringing over 800 cars from over 30 states to our region. Saturday, catch them all lined up on High Street. Saturday from 8:30-4, free. My family usually grabs a spot on the curb around 3:30 to watch them all take off for an unofficial parade we have coined in our home called the Mustang Parade.
One of the biggest events in Fulton is happening this weekend. Morels and Microbrews is a family-friendly event with vendors and culinary delights, including fresh and fried morel mushrooms. Event is free to attend, beer garden requires a paid ticket. Saturday from 11am-4pm.
Hosted by JC Parks, Porchfest this year will be held at McClung Park and surrounding blocks of Fairmount Blvd, Fairmount Ct, and Oakwood Dr. Food trucks, vendors, yard games and multiple stages with live music - bring your lawn chair and a sense of community! Sunday from 1pm-4pm.
5. A Kickoff for Summer for the Little Ones!
Southwest Early Childhood Center is hosting Summer Kickoff Carnival with a bounce house, water stations, games and entertainment for the family. Sunday from 3pm-5pm, free!
