McKay Park, located at 1700 Southridge Blvd in Jefferson City, MO is part of JC Parks. The park is a great meeting place for families with an assortment of activities to enjoy. The park encircles Sunset Lake with a 0.6 mile paved walking trail that connects to the Jefferson City Greenway. There are two parking lots and year-round facilities with men's and women's restrooms (no diaper changing station) and a water fountain with a water bottle filling station. There is also a solar bench with a device charging station, 10 covered picnic areas with charcoal grills and a basketball court. The embankment leading to the basketball court is perfect for sledding during winter months.

The Playground
There are two Vehicle themed play structures, side-by-side for the 2-5 age range and 5-12 age range that include climbers, slides, ropes and bars course and swings. Both play structures include inclusive play boards on ground level, no ramps or lifts.
