Calling all eco-warriors and community champions! It's time to roll up our sleeves and make a positive impact together! We're thrilled to invite you to our upcoming Community Clean-Up Day on- you guessed it- Earth Day!
Date: April 22nd
Time: Begins at 3:00, ends at an undetermined time.
Location: Retold Tales Used Bookstore - 176b Simon Blvd, Holts Summit MO
Together, we can make a difference by beautifying our neighborhood, protecting wildlife, and promoting a cleaner, healthier environment for everyone. Whether you're passionate about reducing litter, restoring green spaces, or simply giving back to the community, there's a role for you to play in this meaningful event.
Here's what you can expect:
- A 1.5-mile circuit from Retold Tales, up S Summit Drive to Holts Summit Park, and back down Greenway Drive to the bookstore!
- Pick up litter and garbage, helping both the earth and our community!
- Proper disposal of waste to minimize our ecological footprint!
- Connecting with neighbors, friends, and fellow volunteers who share your commitment to environmental stewardship!
This event is perfect for individuals, families, friends, and groups of all ages and backgrounds. Letters for volunteer hours are available! Let's come together, inspire change, and create a cleaner, greener future for generations to come!
Don't forget to wear work clothes, sturdy shoes, and bring your best attitudes! Gloves, bags, masks, water, and hand sanitizer will be provided.
