At River City Habitat for Humanity, sustainability is top of mind all year round. We incorporate energy-efficient building techniques into our construction practices and work to reduce energy costs for homeowners. Our ReStore is yet another example of Habitat’s efforts, diverting pounds of unwanted goods from landfills last year.
With Earth Day approaching on April 22, we invite you to come celebrate with us! We will be opening our ReStore for a special evening of shopping, food and ideas. At 5:00 and 6:00, ShopGirls, Southbank Gifts and All In One Landscaping will have short 10 - 15 minute presentations on various ideas, including how to repurpose furniture, how to build a terrarium and how to demonstrate the art of kokedama.
We will have a kid's activity area, hors d'oeuvres throughout the store, special shopping sales and CC's Burgers and Brats food truck in the parking lot.
Tickets are $5 each for adults. Children 12 and under are free.
Join us for a fun evening and let's all work to ReStore the Earth! Together, we can make an impact in our community and on our planet.
